A reason to get up early
Fresh pastries from our own kitchen. Eggs from our hens, honey from our bees, fruit and vegetables from the garden. Alongside them, grains and produce from small local farms — put together differently every day.
We call it a surprise breakfast, because we follow the season rather than a menu. Echt, frisch — einfach guat (real, fresh — simply good, in the local dialect).
Sleep you notice the next morning
Both suites have a Prowave Air Premium sleep system in king size. Two separate air cores mean each side adjusts on its own — steplessly, by remote control. The support adapts to your body rather than simply holding it up.
Anyone who has shared a mattress that only suited one of them will know why this matters to us.
Walls that breathe
The interior walls are finished with clay plaster. Clay takes in moisture and releases it again — regulating the air in the room without any technology and without a sound.
Add to that solid timber, natural stone and linen. The insulation is made of wood. This is not a pose for the brochure — it is the reason the rooms stay cool in summer.
The region begins at your door
Lake Stubenberg is close by, and the cycle paths of the Apfelland (apple country) run right past. You are welcome to use our e-bikes free of charge throughout your stay.
And if the ride turns out longer than planned, or the wine tavern too comfortable: we will come and collect you. You and the bike.
